Replica 1851 Navy Revolver and Holster

Blued cylinder and barrel with brass body and hammer and wood grips. It's overall length is 13 5/8" and comes with the long barreled holster. Introduced in 1850 and made through 1873, the total production of the Model 1851 revolver was about 255,000 pieces. This cap-and-ball revolver fired six 36 caliber balls, and a loading mechanism was incorporated into the design. This non-firing replica has the handling characteristics of the original, with functional lock and loading mechanisms.

Silver and gold colored with detailed engraving and wood grips. It's overall length is 13 5/8" and comes with the long barreled holster. The engraved Navy revolver was a presentation piece given to high ranking military officers and government officials and was based on the military-issue 1851 Navy revolver, which saw service through the end of the Civil War. This non-firing version provides a dramatic illustration of the talents of the factory engravers of the period.

The Navy Holster has 2 buckle straps due to it's length when compared to the colt style holsters. Works great with the Western Gun Belt!

Etched Holster Options

Holsters are made from a heavy 8-9oz leather and finished in your choice of color. This Etched Revolver Holster is patterned after historic designs, and made to last. The Etched Navy Holster has a strap with the etched brass plate where the top buckle strap is located on the plain holster. It still has the lower buckle straps due to it's length when compared to the colt style holsters. The photos above show a standard etched western holster, but the Navy holster is longer than the colt holster pictured. The etched strap will be the same as the ones pictured, but placed on the navy holsters show at the top of the page. Works great with the Western Gun Belt!
